People really need to stop asking this. You can change your profession to anything very early in the game. Choose whatever it really doesn't matter. The only game it might matter a bit in is Prophecies, because it's a bit longer until you get to change your secondary, but still doesn't matter much. choose whatever you like it doesn't matter and you'll always be changing it. However it I had a new Paragon I would choose Warrior for Watch Yourself. Free energy is nice.
EDIT: I meant Watch Yourself, not Shields Up. Last edited by Lotrfish; Mar 08, 2007 at 03:32 AM // 03:32.. |

I'd suggest taking the one you think will be the most effective because almost every profession combination can work out great and as stated before, you can change it relatively early if you don't like it.

I agree warrior for the extra shouts is good.
Ranger for a pet when all your heroes have pets is fun too. |

With what ever you choose your decision can not be wrong. You are only stuck with the secondary till you finish the Building a base quests which is really not that far from the beginning of the game.
Ranger is always a good class for secondary (Hekets Rampage is awesome for charging Adrenaline skills like “Go for the eyes”) You can also have a pet which you can name fluffy or peewee or biscuit or MrMittins endless possibilities |

Warrior is the way to go for a beginning Paragon. The synergy with Watch Yourself is simply too good to pass up.

As for the answer any secondary is a good one, to start id say do warrior, it helps you get comfortable with what the paragon can do. |
